snowflake_challenge is an annual event celebrating the best parts of fandom and the people who make it that way. Everyone is welcome to participate, whether you are a fanwork creator, a consumer or someone in between.

The challenge will run from January 1 to 31. Starting on January 1, a new challenge will be posted every other day till January 29. A friending meme will be posted on the 31st.

They are currently looking for volunteers to help out with the event. If you are interested, please see here and here (for commenters).
