quidditchfest's Quidditch Fest is now open for claiming. This is an anonymous fest, and it welcomes fic, art and podfics. There is an option for self-prompt.

What Constitutes Acceptable Main Characters/Pairings For This Fest?

This fest only accepts fanworks that feature canon athletic characters from Harry's generation as the main characters. For a list of acceptable main characters, please see the Team Roster link below.

If the work features a central pairing, the central pairing must consist only of characters in the Team Roster. Non-athletic characters are allowed to show up in the story/art/podfic, but they cannot be the main character or a part of the main pairing in the story/art/podfic.

For example, Ginny/Hermione or Harry/Neville cannot be the main pairing in the story you submit to this fest, but Ginny/Cho or Harry/Draco is totally fine.

Length Restrictions

Fic: Minimum word count is 1000 words. No maximum.
Art: Traditional, digital and physical craft art are welcomed. Videos, manips and cosplay pieces will not be accepted. Art submission should display at least 2 hours worth of effort.
Podfic: Selected works for podficcing must have a minimum word count of 1000 words. It must also fit the theme of this fest.

Prompting Opens: April 16th
Prompting Closes: May 7th
Claiming Opens: May 9th
Claiming Closes: July 31st
Submissions Due: August 15th
Posting Begins: September 6th
Author Reveals: TBA

Claiming ends on July 31. Submissions are due on August 15. Participants will be asked to submit their finished works to the fest's AO3 Collection.
